Strengths
- Freakish movement skills for a 6'5" receiver - bends and sinks his hips like someone four inches shorter with remarkable elasticity
- Explosive separator who creates instant cushion with subtle shoulder fakes and head nods that leave defensive backs guessing wrong
- Shows tremendous ball-tracking ability downfield, adjusting his frame mid-flight while maintaining concentration through contact and contested situations
- Accelerates through his breaks with violence, eating up cushion quickly and forcing corners to turn their hips earlier than comfortable
- Attacks the football at its highest point with strong hands, showing the body control to contort and secure difficult catches
- Surprisingly nimble after the catch for his size, displaying good vision and balance to maximize yards after reception opportunities
- Natural feel for finding soft spots in zone coverage, throttling down effectively and presenting himself as an available target consistently
- Willing run blocker who seeks contact and shows good effort sustaining blocks, using his length effectively to wall off defenders
Areas to Improve
- Lean frame at 200 pounds raises durability concerns, especially given his previous shoulder injury that cost him most of 2022
- Lacks elite long speed to consistently stack corners vertically, sometimes allowing recovery in pure footrace situations down the sideline
- Concentration drops show up on film, particularly on routine catches where he takes his eyes off the ball
- Can get grabby at the stem against physical press coverage, needs to trust his footwork more than his hands
- Sometimes overshoots his landmarks on comeback routes, taking extra steps to gather himself and creating windows for defenders to close
